MUMBAI: Alankrita Shrivastava’s film “Lipstick Under My Burkha” will now arrive in theaters one week before its scheduled release which was July 28. This is done to avoid another box office clash with Anees Bazmee’s wedding-comedy “Mubarakan”.
Producer Ekta Kapoor, Sneha Rajani and director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari have decided to shuffle the dates of their respective movies for a smooth performance at the ticket window.
“Lipstick Under My Burkha”, film is presented and distributed by Ekta will hit the theaters on July 21 and “Mubarakan”, produced by Rajani will release on July 28.
Tiwari’s “Bareilly Ki Barfi”, a romantic comedy, was earlier set to release on July 21 but she and producer Preeti Shahani have decided to postpone the film to the next available date of August 18.
