MUMBAI: Rinku Rajguru who was seen in the Marathi blockbuster film “Sairat”. After the grand success of the film the actress became household name in Maharashtra.
Rinku has cleared her class 10th examination of the state board. She scored 66.4% marks in her SSC exam.
She scored 59 marks out of 100 in English. Incidentally, a popular dialogue from her character Aarchi mouthes in the film is: ‘Did you get it, or should I translate it into English?’
“Sairat” film was released last year and it became the first Marathi film to earn Rs 100 crore. The movie even did good business outside the Maharashtra region. The film revolves around the character of teenage inter-caste romance which meets a tragic end.
While Rinku Rajguru was appearing for the exam, she said that she had completed her syllabus just one month before her exam. She had failed to make it to the school even on the first day of her new academic year.
She further added that,”the transition from lights, camera, action to`physics, chemistry, maths was not easy. The one and a half month time that I got for studies was enough.”
Last year in the month of June Rinku attended her school at Akluj in Solapur district as she was away from her home for couple of months. She was busy attending promotional, celebration events and also appearing on the popular TV show after the release of the film.
Earlier, a day after she got a special mention when the National Film Awards were announced, Rinku appeared for her class 9th exam in her school Jijamata Kanya Prashala and scored 81%.
