Indian Tennis player Rohan Bopanna is the fourth sports person who won Grand Slam Trophy in French open Mixed doubles final along with Gabriela Dabrowski.

Rohan Bopanna Enters French Open Mixed Doubles Final

PARIS: Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna is the fourth Indian to win the trophy of Grand Slam as he has reached in French Open mixed double final along with his partner Gabriela Dabrowski.

Rohan Bopanna and along with his Canadian partner Gabriela Dabrowski seeded seventh and shocked third seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 7-5 6-3 in the semifinals.

This is the second time in Bopanna career when he reached the summit clash of Grand Slam. In year 2010 he made his final of US open men’s double along with his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-haq-Qureshi.

Till date only three Indians have managed to win Grand Slam trophy as previously Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza.

Bopanna is the lone Indian to survive in the tournament after the exits of Paes and Sania.
